Aloha friends! I am a mom to four kids and love all things crafty and creative. My little family started in Hawai’i where we spent our days with sand between our toes and playing in the ocean. I worked as a floral designer and fell in love with flowers, designing lots of destination weddings, local events on the island, and tropical sprays galore. Those were some of our best days and someday it is my dream to move back. We moved to good ‘ol Idaho for my husband’s work and spent lots of free time camping and immersed in sports. We now reside in sunny St. George, Utah and love being outside hiking the red rock, swimming as much as possible, and still playing lots of sports. I have always had a passion for graphic design, even though my degree is in biology and biochemistry, and have created tons of printables for my family throughout the years. Before kids I spent time teaching English in Taiwan and Korea, and loved coming up with lesson plans and fun enriching activities. When kids came along, I joined lots of play groups and homeschool groups, immersing my kids in art and creativity. This blog has been such a fun way to share my creations and connect with people from around the world. I’m so happy you’re here and hope we can become friends!

Hey there! I am a mom to five kids and am more of the artsy fartsy type. I’m a little weird mixed with a little cool (even if my kids beg to differ). I love to travel and learn all about different cultures. As a kid I thought I’d be a National Geographic photographer living in a hut in Africa. I dream one day of traveling through Europe and then over to Asia. I’d totally sell everything and live out of a backpack with my family for a few years…not sure my husband would though. 🙂 He’s from Peru but grew up in Spain, so most likely we’ll just end up living in Spain for a couple years and explore Europe that way. I love photography, drawing and being outside whenever possible. We have lived mostly out west (all over Utah, Oregon, Wyoming) and now we’re in Ohio. Been here for almost three years now. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit and have worked from home most my adult life (minus one year at a tax lien investing company). My husband and I fix and flip homes here in Ohio and have rental properties. I love doing this blog because it pushes me to play more with my kids and allows me to share my skills with all of you. So welcome to our hut, I hope you feel at home!
