Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice!
Halloween and Beetlejuice just go together. And with the release of Beetlejuice 2 just around the corner, we had to round up our favorite eerie Beetlejuice Halloween party ideas…epic enough for the living and the recently deceased!
Start the party right with a themed invite. These Beetlejuice invitations are editable and can be used for a movie viewing, Halloween party, dinner party, birthday party, or any other Beetlejuice themed celebration.
All digital printables mentioned in this roundup are available in our digital Beetlejuice Party Pack.
When it comes to decor, we like to add touches of the movie. Grab an old book and remake the famous “Handbook for the Recently Deceased” book that Adam & Barbara use to navigate their way through the afterlife. Grab the printable Handbook for the Recently Deceased book cover here.
And don’t forget to hang up or scatter around the tables some Beetlejuice ads and business cards. It’s the small details that will make the entire party even more nostalgic!
If there’s one thing all parties have in common, it’s that guests are gonna ask “where’s the bathroom?” So why not include it in the decor? This clever Beetlejuice restroom sign is exactly what you need to make sure guests can find their way to the toilet. And if the bathroom is down the hall, away from the party area, the sign is a fun little surprise. Take it a step further and add fake cockroaches around the sign to make it even more Beetlejuice-y!
This idea can be used as party decor or as a fun party activity. All you need is black and white paint, paintbrushes and pumpkins. So simple!
For every party we throw, we always add a paper banner. For a birthday party, we can easily add the name of the one we’re celebrating, but for a movie themed party, we love adding one of the iconic movie lines. For a Beetlejuice party, the saying “Never Trust the Living” or even “It’s Showtime” would be perfect.
Get the printable Beetlejuice garland here in our party pack. It includes every letter of the alphabet so you can customize the banner to your liking.
One of our easiest party decor tricks is to add cupcake toppers in the theme of the party. It’s so simple but changes even simple store bought cupcakes into a crowd pleaser.
These Beetlejuice cupcake toppers can also be found in our printable Beetlejuice party pack here.
Another super simple party decor idea is to put food signs on the food table. We love making food in the theme of the party and food signs are the easiest and cheapest way to add to the theme. Printable Beetlejuice food signs (or place cards) are quick and easy and you can add your own text in Canva or write in the blank space.

Add even more decor to the table with these Beetlejuice plates, cups, large napkins & small napkins.
Or keep it simple and purchase this black & white striped party pack.
The sandworms from Beetlejuice are one of our favorite things in the movie. Yes, the graphics are funny looking and a little out of place, but the scenes were just pure fun. As a kid, after watching Beetlejuice, who didn’t imagine that one day you’d open your door to go outside and fall into the sandworm desert??
This sandworm prop would look super cool in your front yard if it’s still available on Amazon. If not, a blow up sandworm is always available. You could make your own DIY sandworm like many other fans out there, if you’re feeling extra crafty. Just make sure it’s split into sections so it gives the effect of actually swimming in the ground.
Don’t stop at just the decor, a good party will also have a game or two and this Pin the Head on Adam & Barbara puts a creepy Beetlejuice spin on the classic game of Pin the Tail on the Donkey. It’s the perfect game for guests of all ages!
You can get it here in our printable Beetlejuice party pack.
You know those foam graveyard tombstones you see at every store around Halloween time? Grab a few the next time you’re out so you can recreate the graveyard from Beetlejuice. Just put them in your yard and hang up the Betelgeuse sign on a tree and you’re set!
Printable sign available in our digital Beetlejuice party pack.
Use movie scenes snapped into a polaroid to decorate the walls or tables…
…Or send guests home with a polaroid thank you tag and some goodies.
These are also included in our digital Beetlejuice party pack.
Speaking of polaroids, grab an Instax camera (our kids use theirs all the time like when they’re hanging out with friends, while on vacation, at their sporting events, day to day) and snap some polaroids of your guests in the Beetlejuice costumes.
And that’s a wrap on our 14 best Beetlejuice-themed Halloween party ideas. Use a few or use them all, either way, your afterlife Beetlejuice soiree is sure to be a hit with the living and the dead alike. So go ahead, summon your inner ghost with the most, and let these ideas help you throw a Halloween bash that’s sure to make everyone levitate and “Shake, shake, shake Senora.” Remember, as Beetlejuice himself would say: “It’s showtime!”
