Take the kids and go on a dande-lion adventure with our free printable lion! As a kid, I remember picking all the dandelions and making different creations with them. Oh how I would of loved making a dande-lion back then. My mind didn’t even put the two together, so I’m glad that I came across Little Pine Learners’ blog and Inspire My Play’s instagram account. I knew instantly that my kids would love to make their own; and of course we wanted to share with the fun so Stacey drew up our own printable version and made it free for all of you as well!

Download the print (at the bottom of the post), cut out, laminate for multiple use (optional) and hole punch the mane. Print one for each kid and go on your adventure!

This activity is great because not only do the kids get to go on an adventure walk but they use their fine motor skills putting the dandelions into the small holes. Good thing Ohio has a plethora of fields covered in large bright yellow dandelions!

But no worries if you don’t live where the dandelions are out in full force; Stacey lives in the desert and they were hard to come by so we ended up using yellow wild flowers and they turned out just as perfect!

We hope your kids are enjoying all our free printables and activities. Now go and explore!
