Print off our free bear prints and take the kids on a nature walk to collect flowers and greens for a fun threading activity. This floral crown activity is so simple and so fun.

The supplies are minimal:
- Draw your own animal on a piece of cardstock or print off our free printable at the end of the post
- Laminate for multiple use
- Use a hole punch to make holes in the head area however you please
- Collect your flowers and greenery
After your walk, find a bench or some grass to start threading. Just make sure there’s a long enough stem to pull the flowers through the holes.

And that’s it! So easy but so fun! Threading is such a great activity for kids (especially young ones) because it helps with hand-eye coordination and concentration skills. It also develops fine motor skills that help them write, draw and even tie shoelaces!
